Ground ball screws for special applications are delivered complete with nuts and machined ends. They are characterised by low running noise and a compact shape.
In comparison to other ground ball screws they display higher accuracy and high performance for particular applications.
They are also available in chilled nut design, in pairs or drill shaft design.
NSK ground ball screws, HMD series
Ground ball screws for high speeds with higher pitch and a middle deflector recirculation method that enables high-speed, low-noise operation and higher rigidity. High rotational speed up to 160,000 DmN. Available in accuracy grade C3 and C5.
HMD ball screws improve machining efficiency due to higher speeds. This series is suitable for high-precision, medium-sized machine tools.

NSK ground ball screws, HMS series
Ground ball screws for high speeds with lower pitch. Metal return tube with a plastic recirculation system SRC (smooth return coupling) ensures very smooth ball movement and therefore low noise and high speed under high loads.
High rotational speed up to 160,000 DmN.
Available in accuracy grades C3 and C5. HMS ball screws improve machining efficiency due to higher speeds. This series is suitable for high-precision, medium-sized machine tools.

NSK ground ball screws, HMC series
Ground ball screws for high speeds with return balls system. With a maximum rotational speed of 135,000 DmN, high stiffness and load capacity, the HMC series is available in accuracy grades C3 and C5.
NSK ground ball screws, BSS series
BSS (Best silent screw) – ground ball screws with a high maximum speed and high load capacity. These are very quiet running, almost silent in common applications and come with an end deflector. They are quiet and compact, with unparalleled high-speed performance and suitable for an extensive range of uses, from transportation equipment to light-load machine tools.

NSK ground ball screws, TW series
Pair ball screws provide high rigidity, accuracy and excellent responses.
They have a very long service life and are available in accuracy grade C5 with a speed of 4000 rpm.
NSK ground ball screws, BSL series
For small lathes, the BSL series has high speeds and low noise thanks to the end deflector with an excellent recirculation system.
The modern plastic seal allows for very effective dust resistance.

NSK ground ball screws, HTF series
For very high loads – a wide range of products suited for high-load drives.
These achieve high speeds and low noise levels even under high loads. Suitable for injection moulding machines.
There are four types produced in this series:
HTF-SRC type – with recirculation system SRC (smooth return coupling). By smoothly picking up balls in the direction tangent to the screw groove, feeding speed is twice as fast as the conventional tube recirculation system while the noise is half or less. Shaft diameter 50–120 mm. Under high loads they can achieve up to 160,000 DmN.
HTF-SRD type – with end deflector. By smoothly picking up balls in the direction tangent to the screw groove, feeding speed is twice as fast as the conventional tube recirculation system while the noise is half or less. Shaft diameter 63–120 mm. Under high loads they can achieve up to 120,000 DmN.
HTF-ASRC and HTF-ASRD types –equipped with seal A1. Ground ball screws with recirculation system SRC or with an end deflector equipped with A1 seal.
HTF-SRE type – with recirculation system, shaft diameter 140–200 mm. Under high loads they can achieve up to 100,000 DmN. Optional A1 seal. Suitable for machining tools, injection presses and applications in the steel industry.
NSK ground ball screw, V1 series
Series for contaminated environments. These ground ball screws have an end deflector and high-performance seals that extend the life of the screw by up to four times in contaminated environments.
Highly dust resistant.
Compact design, low noise, long life and high speed up to 150,000 DmN.
