Spherical bushings
Spherical bushings are self-aligning spherical plain bushings that have inner and outer rings with spherical sliding surfaces. They can take a large radial load and a bidirectional axial load at the same time. They are designed for slow swinging movement and can compensate for misalignment.
There are many types of spherical bushings, but they are usually divided according to the kind of sliding surfaces:
- Steel-on-steel type
- Maintenance-free type, steel/PTFE
- Steel/sintered bronze type
Bearings are produced in metric and inch dimensions, with and without seals, or with an extended inner ring.
- Self-aligning spherical bushing
- Types for high radial loads and bidirectional axial loads
- Types of steel – steel and maintenance-free types with PTFE surface
- For construction machines, hydraulic cylinders etc.
